Thanks for the hike Dave. I had a wonderful time hiking on a perfect day. The company was great, conversation was lively...it couldn't have been any better.

Dave, Yes, the picture of the rock with 52 switchbacks is Beacon Rock in OR and the waterfall is Multnomah Falls :). Guess you found a place to settle into there? Hope you like it. Would love to have a list of places you recommend to hike and or backpack to in Washington. I may be heading back out that way this summer. Fingers crossed :)

Thanks for the wind gust update and suggesting Beacon Rock. It was beautiful and just as gusty. Unfortunately my calves are not happy with me with the hike after the hike... I'm hobbling around a bit.
