I absolutely love to hike and backpack strenuous trails in any weather. I've hiked all of the trails that lead to Mount LeConte and am always ready for some new adventures.

Welcome to the group Kerry!
Hi Kerry. Welcome to the GSH&AG
Hello Kerry,
The place in Georgia is Cumberland Island, which is accessible by ferry. There are no cars on the island, and it has beautiful beaches on the east side. You can camp at the shady campground under Live Oaks filled with spanish moss. Wild horses roam the island along with a myriad of other animals. There are clean restrooms with hot showers. Team Green is going the first week in June. teamgreenadvent

I enjoyed backpacking with you last weekend.
If you are visitng Washington this summer you may be interested in buying a hiking permit for Mount St. Helens. http://mshinstitute.org/index.php/cli...![]()

Just noticed you had one (maybe more?) photo from OR on your profile. Cool! Was that a photo of Beacon Rock right before Multnomah Falls?
Sent ya an email, let me know if you don't get it :)
Glad you could make it to the pint night last night. Enjoyed hanging out with you and the crew. Already looking forward to our next adventure. ~Rob ;-)
Thought u were going back to Mt. Le. Conte. this weekend? I hit the gardrail on I-40 on the way back from the smokeys. Jeeps ok ,minor damage. cya later.
I think 7:30 would be fine, even if u are late getting there its no problem getting to the top by lunch time.
Hi greetings from Lebanon. I've done the Gizzard at least 5 times, solo once. been up Mt. Leconte 3 times from two directions. I do a little bit of the A. T. in the smokeys every Oct. almost have it all. Think Costa Rica would be a dream trip!!
