Radnor Lake hike, followed by pizza at Joey's Pizza. (map)
We'll start at the Granny White Pike (west) entrance parking lot, start out on the Lake Trail, climb up Ganier Ridge, then come back on either the South Lake trail or the Lake Trail. Otter Creek Road and the South Cove trail are closed due to storms.
Some guidelines for Radnor Lake:
1. Pets are not allowed on the trails.
2. Recommend water and rain gear through the summer months.
3. Note that on good weather days Radnor parking can get crowded. Please observe all traffic flow and parking rules posted.
4. DO NOT enter Radnor Lake from the Franklin Road side. You must enter from Granny White Pike/Otter Creek Road because the road is blocked to vehicle traffic through the park. On maps Otter Creek Road looks like a through street for cars but it is not.
5. There is only one parking lot on the Granny White end so it won't be hard to find us. We'll be the crowd of people standing around.
6. There is not a sign for Radnor Lake on Granny White Pike. Look on the map for where Otter Creek Road intersects Granny White Pike and turn there.

Yes, I would love to go to Burgess Falls. Never been and the photos are great. I'll hope a others would like to either go again or discover them for the first time like me.
Good Morning Ray & All, I had hiked Burgess Falls a couple of weeks ago, & posted the pics to maybe stimulate an interest in NHM to go there. For those who have not been, it is beautiful!
I have additional photos that I take on my loop around the lake before our hike on my Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/mrhicks
Thanks for arranging the dinner at Joeys!
I really enjoy talking to you guys while hiking. I hiked Burgess Falls July 18th & posted some pictures of the Falls.
It was raining hard in .....Franklin so I went on the Friday morning hike......Joey's Pizza Rocks!!
I had a great time--my 1st with this group! Will definately be joining you guys again.
Between the rain and the rush hour traffic my plans were dashed. I look forward to getting out there next week... hopefully w/out rain.
I was looking so forward to my first time to meet up with you guys tonight, but I will not be able to make it. I'll be sure and be at the next one.
I had a sitter planned but it is storming out here in Franklin, afraid it will be the same when I get to Nashville, so I am gonna save the cash and see you next week. I can't wait for next weeks walk and dinner after!
Do they have beer at Joey's?
Ah, Joey's. . .they take me home . . .again!
I was just looking for an excuse to go back and try the Lasagna!
Good news -- we convinced Joey's Pizza to stay open late and feed us again!
There's a link to a map above, but here's directions to Joey's Pizza: From Radnor, go left on Granny White, left on Old Hickory Blvd, take a right before the Publix shopping center on West Park Drive, then a left onto Maryland Way, then the next IMMEDIATE right onto Ward Circle.
