There is nothing better than lending a helping hand and helping someone own their own home!

No experience or tools needed…just smiling faces and an open mind to learn. All the tools are provided and we will teach you the tasks that need to be completed. This build day is the third weekend for this house which involves painting, installing bathroom and kitchen cabinets, interior trim, doors and remaining exterior siding work.

This house is one of 35 that will be built this year. The house is sponsored by the proceeds by the Nashville Habitat Home Stores.

Anyone over the age of 16 can volunteer.

Check in starts at 6:30 (ok, that part is the hardest of the day), safety brief at 7am and work goes until 3:30 p.m.

From myself and the future home owner ...Thank y'all for giving up your time and helping somebody else out !!! Sorry it was a little crowded in the house and not enough to keep everyone busy all the time... We decided to hold off the would be outside muddy tasks until next weekend since the house was in get shape. Carl.

Just did this with singles yesterday. I wonder if we're working on a new homeowner's house? If I can find a ride I might come out anyway. I'm coming from the Hermitage area.
